Campus Map

The campus is near the Haymarket Metro station, two stops north of the Central Station (about 15-20 minutes by foot). From Haymarket, the School is a five minute walk:

  • If you arrive by metro, walk straight ahead when you reach the top of the escalators, turn right upon emerging from the metro station, and cross Percy Street (marked as Haymarket on the map).
  • Turn right passing the pub The Crow's Nest, Blackwells Bookshop, and the Campus Coffee Shop (all marked as Grand Hotel on this map).
  • Keep walking on the same pavement until you reach the traffic lights on the corner.
  • Turn left. You are now on Claremont Road.
  • Walk slightly uphill passing the security control on your left hand side.
  • The Daysh Building is the next building entrance on your left.
  • The next building entrance on your left is for Claremont Tower and Bridge. The School of Computing Science Reception can be found on the 8th floor of Claremont Tower.
  • To get to the Devonshire Building cross the zebra crossing immediately after passing under the Bridge Building. Walk straight forward. The building in front of you is the Devonshire Building.

The University website has directions to the University and maps of the University campus and city.
